Mint-Cilantro Chutney

A fresh, magical flavor booster, this chutney is addictive and is not only amazing on our Bollywood burger but on any grilled meat or vegetable. Don’t be afraid to adjust ingredients according to taste. Trust your (taste) buds, look for fresh and balanced between tart and sweet.


  • 3 1/2 c of Cilantro, leaves and stems
  • 1/2 tsp. Tamarind paste
  • 3 tbsp. plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 thumbnail piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 Serrano pepper, seeded and De-veined (more or less to taste)
  • 3 tbsp. of fresh, lemon juice
  • 1 c of mint leaves
  • 2 tsp. honey or sugar


Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, taste and adjust.
