We stopped at a beautiful little shop in Ravello, “Profumi della Costiera” to taste some Limoncello. The company produces right on the premises and makes some of the best limoncello we’ve ever had. It is made with lemons from Amalfi known as ”Sfusato Amalfitano” due to their tapered shape, giving them an intense perfume and a bright yellow, thick pourous peel; with no added color or preservatives. We also tasted and purchased liquore al finocchietto (fennel), liquore alle fragole (strawberries) and crema di melone (melon), all absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to all of the recipes we can create with these!
